Please be informed on the process of registering the above matters. 

Scopus ID is generated automatically for the researcher upon their publication indexed by Scopus.

The Scopus Author Identifier assigns a unique number to groups of documents written by the same author via an algorithm that matches authorship based on a certain criteria. If a document cannot be confidently matched with an author identifier, it is grouped separately. In this case, you may see more than 1 entry for the same author.

User with several author ID can request to merge profiles regardless of the name used. The process as follows:

1. Search for the profile that has the preffered name
2. On the profile page, on the right hand side of the screen select " Request author Detail Corrections"
3. The author Profile Wizard will open and provide instructions
4. As step 3 of the Wizard is " Review Documents' and at the bottom is the link " search for missing documents". This function allows you to search and add the papers which is not in the profile.
5. If you have trouble, you can write directly to authorfeedback@scopus.com and ask if they can merge the two profiles.
