Turnitin Soft Reminder

Dear Turnitin User,

Please be informed about Turnitin. It is a tool to check similarity index for document. Currently the subscribed turnitin license is up to 3000.

There are 2 account for user:

1.       Instructor Account (Only for lecturer)

2.       Student Account ( student level undergraduate & post graduate)

Instructor Account

Requirement:

-          Upon registration must use formal email address ……@ump.edu.my

-          Account ID and Join Password provided by Library (Confidential only for lecturer)

-          Training Guide for Instructor

-Create class ID

-Create Assignment

-It is advisable class id due date only for 1 month and Instructor need to edit the due date after submission has been made to end the class.

-Please make sure your optional setting is correct.

-It is advisable to make backup for your document submission or at least the submission paper id and the date of submission.

Student Account

Requirement:

-          Upon registration can use any commercial email …….@gmail.com, …..yahoo.com etc

-          Class ID and Class enrollment password provided by supervisor (instructor)

-          Training guide for Student

-Registration to create account

-Submit paper

-Please make backup for your submission paper id and date of submission

Note: Instructor Account that is not fulfilled the above requirement will be dropped from the system without further noticed.
